This source-only GitHub release closes Stage 15 on its approved active scope and opens Stage 16 as the explicit home for deferred GPU evidence and the approved agentic atlas research program. It does not attach a generated-assets v14 archive and does not authorize or perform a UCB Active Archive Object Storage deposit over S3.

Stage 15 result

• The standard Anthropocene family now contains explicit complete-2025 and partial-2026 particulate editions plus the two accepted CPC temperature editions. The unqualified observation artifact is removed; compatibility targets build the year-qualified pair.
• Pass-status and standard-artifact manifests distinguish the four standard, default-generated, accepted-experimental Anthropocene pass IDs from exploration-only research products.
• The frozen Stage 14 catalog remains historical evidence while the live standard graph grows from 205/31 to 211/32. Lossless 2048 × 1024 landscape and 1024 × 2048 portrait controls retain their frozen parent identities.
• A checked local CDN/WASM candidate demonstrates versioned indexes, runtime media/cache policy, and release separation without publishing a completion marker.
• The visually approved Majuro canary is extended into six projection compositions and 24 local SVG/PDF/full-PNG/thumbnail artifacts. Checked source contracts keep the planetary carrier, USGS observation-derived topobathymetry, and inundation scenario separate.
• Twelve PurpleAir-interface SVGs use default-visible synthetic QA anchors at 60% opacity and contain no sensor or measurement claim.
• Twelve water-debris SVGs render only five reviewed 2018 depth stations; other source families remain context-only or unavailable. No garbage-patch polygon or invented depth field is introduced.
• make all-experiments registers and builds seven non-release families: lossless GPU controls, local consumer layout, Majuro canary, five Marshall Islands speculation PNGs, the full Majuro pass, PurpleAir interface, and water-debris experiment. It cannot fetch, authorize, promote, release, or upload.

The included output/ contact sheets and speculative PNGs are review evidence, not released atlas masters. The ignored assets.generated/ tree remains a local render workspace and is not attached to this source release.

Stage 16 transition

The Stage 16 ledger receives every explicitly deferred Stage 15 track: compressed GPU formats, hardware timing, picking masks, Float32 audits, additional consumers, GPU promotion decisions, and remaining atoll evidence tiers. It also records the approved two-loop agentic atlas program.

The first agentic canary will compare source-timed atmosphere products; a water-debris v02 iteration follows. The initial Marshall Islands recommendation fixture ranks Myriahedral Pacific, Dymaxion, Cahill–Keyes, local azimuthal equidistant, and Star-X by research purpose rather than naming one universally best projection. Approval records future scope; no generic orchestrator or Stage 16 product is claimed in this release.

Publication boundary

GitHub source publication and UCB AAO preservation remain separate concepts and separate Make targets. This release uses only release-github. release-ucb-aao-s3 remains top-level, interactive-only, and delegated to alpha60-clusterops/bin/load-s3-aao. It is not a dependency of generation, experiments, checks, source release, or any unattended agent workflow.
